Bad cat behavior: FELIX THE CAT SOLVED IT?
My cat gave me a hiss, and tried to scratch and bite me seemingly without warning right in the middle of what I thought was a pleasant petting or stroking session with him. I thought that my cat no longer likes me! This bad behavior was killing me. You know what, I had kept him like my child. Can a child do such things to his mother? I was crying inside!!Anyways, I was having problems sleeping that night. But, finally I got to sleep.
I saw Felix the Cat in my dreams. I was asking him about the bad cat behavior of my kitty.
Felix said: hmm...May be you had enough of petting and stroking..
I said: Yeah...But that's what we have daily and with no problems at all..
Felix: Then you must have began thinking about something else while petting him, not realizing that your cat was getting uncomfortable and that so much time had passed.
Me: Hmm..that is possible...but why bite me? :(
Felix: Your cat is innocent and he doesn't really know it hurts when bitten. See, there can be other reasons as well, but believe me the two most common reasons of bad cat behavior are : when a cat wants to play a lot more or when he doesn't want play anymore. Remember, Playful aggression often results in scratches and inhibited bites which do not break the skin. Playful attacks can also occur when you come down the stairs,step out of the bathtub, round a corner, or even move under the bedcovers while sleeping.
You may not know it, but may be you encouraged him to bite during previous plays..
...And if your kitty doesn't want play anymore..then he will show certain signs. You got to become more aware of your cats' body postures, and cease petting or stop any other kind of interaction before the bite occurs.
Signals, owners should be aware of include:
• restlessness
• the cat’s tail beginning to twitch
• the cat’s ears turning back or flicking back and forth
• the cat turning or moving her head toward your hand

I wake up early in the morning and gave my catty a cheerful kiss. I love him more than ever! I followed whatever Felix the cat told me.
