Cat urine remover : Cat urine removal process

How to stop cat urine?

Urine marking is a communication system for cats. Cat urine contains pheromones which are chemical substances that tell other cats certain messages. Spraying is a common component of cat behavior during the mating season with males and females communicating their availability with their pheromones.

The male cat will also mark his territory, letting other male cats know that these are the boundaries and this area belongs to him.

Feline spraying can also be caused by stress. A cat that feels threatened by certain circumstances around the house may feel the need to mark out his own zone.

The key to cat training is to make sure that whatever you want your cat to do is exceedingly rewarding and pleasurable. Whatever you don't want your cat to indulge in must never be rewarding or fun, in fact, it must be unpleasant.

Your cat may still be territorial scent marking or he may simply need a refresher course in litterbox training. It is not uncommon for a neutered male cat to spray and urinate wherever he pleases.. The primary cause of the spraying is insecurity in his territory. Moving into a new home or changes in the environment can cause a cat to spray. If the previous occupants had a cat, your cat may be reacting to the smells that cat left behind.

Help your cat increase his confidence and feeling of security in his still relatively new home. Give him tons of praise, affection and attention for simply breathing. Constantly reassure him that he is the most wonderful cat in the world. He is so special that you bring him gifts (toys and treats) daily. Play with him, massage him, talk to him, do everything to rebuild his self esteem.
